Amon,
I read the outsiders in high school too. I loved that book. Remind me what happens in chapter four. And what is the poem that talks about gold? It may be in the beginning and/or the end.

Sammey,
Minnesota, land of 10,000 lakes...I bet living in GA is quite a big change for you in the weather department.
I am a teacher in New Zealand. We are just coming out of Winter here. It snowed yesterday. It hardly ever snows here so it was a big deal. We go to school almost year round here. We have three two-week vacations (one coming up) and then a six-week Summer vacation. Our school year will end on December 7.
Good luck with the blog and the new school year. I look forward to lots of good posts from you.

Sammey,
We had 8-9 centimeters. You can find out what that is in inches here.

You would call that a "dusting".
We don't get a lot of snow here in New Zealand. When we do it usually is a mess. School was let out around lunchtime so everyone could get home okay.

Sammey,
I have never read "The Outsiders". Do you recommend it? Can you give me a summary of the book - if you have finished it already?
I have never been to Minnesota. I bet it is soooo cold there. I really enjoy our warm weather here in Georgia.
Would you rather live in Georgia or Minnesota?
