Early childhood education

Should children be put in schools when they are 3, 4 and 5 years old?  Yes, the earlier you put your kid in school it improves their school life later in life. A lot of kids are in day care all day and it gives them the structure as of a real school but do they learn any thing.. To me kids should be put in a pre- K program or a daycare that is based on educating your child before he/ or she even enters school.  Reg Weaver, president of the National Education Association says that children who attend a full day of kindergarten are better prepared intellectually, socially, and psychologically, then those who attend it half a day or none, and that trying to repair reading problems in the fourth grade is more expensive then teaching it earlier in life. I really think this is true because kids can pick up and learn more earlier in life than later. Do you think educating children in life works out better for them later?

Excitement in weblogs!!!

While looking through work of students in the fifth grade, we learned about how to make better and more exciting weblogs. These students have been working on their weblogs for a year and they are very talented in they writing. I was impressed at their way of writing, and how much I learned from other students. The topic I really liked was when Alejandra said" Catch the readers attention!" She talks about how if the weblog is interesting then people will want to keed comming back to read it and like it. I think that is very important because you probably won't get great feed back if no one wants to read your blog because its boring. Would you like to read a boring weblog even if it has great information?
