The school is so small!!!!!

This is a new year 2006, Hello everyone. Weblogs are comming back after our winter vacation. When the new year began we got to go to our chosen schools to learn how it is to be a teacher and to help out. The school I got to to go to was C.J.Hicks Elementary. The grade to choose was second grade. We go every  morning On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, for first period. Every morning the students in all grade go to an assigned class for reading. Even though My teacher teaches second grade she, also teaches a third grade reading class. The students in the class are great. They are hyper, loud, and seem to play around a lot. For the most part, the students can read. All of the students are in third grade except for one, their is this one little girl who is in the first grade but, is the third grade reading class. Wow, that is great she is that smart to have skipped a grade. Their is another boy in the class who is I think in an inclusion to the classroom, this little boy is smart because he can read but, he acts different from the other kids. Their is another little girl who is new and, only speaks Spanish, so I had to help her with reading with flash cards, she made improvements. I get to read to the kids at the beginning of reading and I learned when they don't like the book you will know. I had a great time at the school and I now I'll have more. What can I do to get the kids more interested in the books?
