It's been a while, but...

It is has been a long while since I have posted.  Actually, I have not posted since I began this journey in September.  And, eventhough I have not posted the students have been working on their blogs.  I am currently working with two classes at our high school about blogging.  Each class is very different and are using blogging differently. 

One is an English class in wich the teacher wants the students to work on expressing ideas through writing and the mechanics that goes with it.  The other is a teacher cadet class in which they are journaling, seeking information about teaching as a career, as well as mechanics and expressing ideas through writing.

With both classes Anne from Georgia State has been helping us get started.  She has helped the students respond to bloggers as well as create their own blog and stimulate conversation through the blog.  So far it has been a blast.   We had some trouble getting started with availability of computers and the crazy high school schedule, but it is coming along.
