About Teacher Cadets


  • This blog was created for a student in a high school who is participating in the Teacher Cadet Program.

    The primary goal of the Teacher Cadet Program is to encourage students to consider teaching as a career. A secondary goal is to provide these students insights about teachers and schools so that they will be civic advocates of education.

My Introduction

Hi my name is Shaqulia, I am a junior in high school in the state of Georgia.I am currently taking a teacher cadet class at my high school because I am insterested in becoming an elementary school teacher. I don't know what grade level I will be working with yet, but I would love to work with kindergarden or first grade.I love small children and the interaction and hands on activities I will be able to do with them.

I wonder sometimes if it is harder to work with such small staudents because of their attention spand? I love children and would love to work with them one day.
