MY FAVORIT TEACHERS

My favorite teachers are Mrs. Kelley (Child Development, Interior Design, Fashion Design teacher) and Mrs. Cruickshank (11 grade English Teacher). In all my years of school I hold a special place for all my teachers because they helped mold me to be the person I am today. Mrs. Kelley especially was one of my favorite teachers because of her ability to bring something out of me that I never knew I had. Before I had her Fashion Design class I had no idea that I had a passion for sewing and I was a natural. When coming in her class she encouraged me to go farther with my talent and join a club call the sewing club. Without her encouragement I would have never found my passion for fashion. She is even a god teacher out of school, she always has a smile or her face and when you see her you know that she has a big heart for her students. When I had her class I was in the ninth grade and I ended up taking all her classes just to see her teach. I took all her classes literally until I had taken them all. I thank Mrs. Kelley for leading me the way to be the student I am. My other favorite teacher was Mrs. Cruickshank. The students use to make fun of her every day and make her run out of the class in tears every day. But I was different I could see her passion for teaching and I knew that inside was a hurt teacher that would be happy if she could at least get the attention of one of her students and that student happened to be me. I was always on point, ready for class, prepared, asking questions, and ready to learn. This helped me to help her in assisting the class and knowing that she had a shoulder to lean on I was once the new student like she was the new teacher and I knew how it feels to not feel wanted. With this in common I helped her to finish the year and she helped me to get recognition for being such a good student. Most teachers don’t pay attention to the quiet student because they are too busy tending and trying to tame the bad students. I congratulate her for seeing and recognizing my talents and encouraging me to be the best that I can be. By the end of the year I was top dog and ready to take on another challenge thanks to her. I give thanks to all teachers that come to school every day and dedicate their lives to us and want them all to know that even if they feel we don’t appreciate it. You should know you really do make a huge difference in our lives. P.S. GIVE THANKS TO YOUR TEACHERS WITHOUT THEM LIFE WOULD BE A MESS!!! Sincerely, Tavon
